City will be hoping to continue their recent run of good form when they make the short trip to face off against Stourport Swifts at Walshes Meadow on Saturday for a 3pm kick-off, in another Worcestershire derby.
Having picked up 3 points at Bewdley Town last weekend, and an impressive 6-0 win over Haughmond in the week, The Blue And Whites come in to tomorrow's tie having won three and drew one of their last five games. Swifts have also seen a recent upturn in form, winning two and drawing two of their last five games, the latest being a 2-0 win over Whitchurch Alport on Tuesday.
Thankfully, there are no new injuries concerns to report, however, captain Craig Jones, who missed Tuesday’s match due to illness, hasn’t fully recovered and is unlikely to feature on Saturday.
City currently sit 4th in the standings going into the weekend, with 55 points from 31 games. Swifts sit 13th, having 41 points from 31 games.
Elsewhere in the league, 3rd placed AFC Wulfrunians, 2 points ahead of The Blue And Whites, travel to Racing Club Warwick. 5th placed Lichfield City have this weekend off, but face off against Whitchurch Alport on Monday evening.
City manager Tim Harris said ahead of the match: "We are fully aware we can expect nothing less than a battle tomorrow when we travel to Stourport Swifts. It's another local derby against a team that will be looking for revenge after our early season victory at Claines Lane.
We have showed a real desire to finish the season strongly and are very much looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead tomorrow."
