Worcester City FC working alongside the Worcestershire FA to get more girls into football...

THE WORCESTER Wildcats SSE Girls Football Club, in association with Worcester City FC and the Worcestershire Football Association, continues to be a great success.
A number of the girls attended our recent game against Shepshed Dynamo where they performed mascot and ball girl duties as well as taking part in a half-time penalty shoot-out on the pitch.
They all had a great time despite the rain!
The Centre runs on a Sunday morning between 10.00am and 11.00am at the University of Worcester and regularly attracts over 20 girls of all abilities for fun-focused sessions.
The Centre is aimed at providing girls aged between five and 11 with a pathway into football. The Worcestershire FA and Worcester City FC are committed to building the female game in the Worcestershire area and provide opportunities for girls to play for local Charter Standard clubs.
Due to the success to date, we are now looking to create teams for the girls to play in and are therefore looking for additional girls to come along and enjoy the FUN!
For more information, please contact Laura McGinn at the Worcestershire FA on 01905-827 137 or Mark Saunders on 07771-972 200.
