Worcester U15’s travelled to Rushall in the JPL cup round-robin stage and a very slow start saw them 3-0 down after 15 minutes against a strong and determined Rushall attack
They managed to pull a goal back before the end of the first quarter through Toby Lungley, but then fell 4-1 behind in the second quarter.
At half time the formation was adjusted slightly and Worcester began to gain confidence and keep possession for longer periods, socring goals in open play from Cian Scott, Matthew Blake and also a penalty from Reece Day to end the 3rd quarter at 4-4.
The final quarter saw action at both ends, with Rushall having the clearer cut chances, but both defences held firm and the game finished at 4-4
Next game for the U15’s is also in the JPL cup round robin stage at North Somerset RTC on the 21st September.
