Newport welcomed Worcester City to Llanwern, Worcester started the first period brighter with some good passing and moving and was soon rewarded with a goal when Alfie Mason scored a great header from a corner,Newport reacted well increasing the tempo and got an equaliser with a fine strike from Eliah Carpenter
In the second period Worcester dominated playing good football with Newport struggling to get in the game and deservingly scored 2 goals through Kane Harold who looked a threat throughout game.
After a good chat with boys Newport come out a different side in the third period and played with a better tempo and put Worcester under a lot of pressure getting there rewards with goals from Oliver Corten and Eliah Carpenter to make it 3-3 going into last period.
Fourth period with both sides looking for the winner it was exciting for all to enjoy but it was Worcester who got it through Elliot Farley who turn out 3-4 winners.
This was a great advert for the JPL league a great game to watch and the manor it was played in.
