Away win seals the league for Worcester City U11's

Yate town welcomed Worcester to there home ground today on a really good day for football. Worcester looked really strong early on and had defended well but Worcester edged it with a wonder goal in the first quarter. The second quarter was more Worcester and they played some cracking football in the process and scored another to finish the second quarter 2-0 up. The third quarter Yate town had a fight on there hands and played a lot better but a clinical Worcester side scored another 2 to finish the third quarter 4-0 up. The fourth quarter Yate town heads dropped and Worcester pounced and really made the most of there chances scoring another 3 goals to finish the match 7-0. A great first 40 mins with both teams really battling hard and was a really good match but sadly wasn't a close match after that and fair play to Worcester because they were good today. We look forward to next week where we play away to Worcester and hopefully it will be a closer game next time.
