Good conditions for football today

Good conditions for football today and a great pitch to set the scene for a match between two teams with a history of closely fought games. The game started tight with Burton defending well in numbers, Worcester kept a constant pressure on Burton and created several chances that eventually led to a goal for Worcester, scored by Alfie but created by some lovely passing moves up the pitch. 1-0

A quarter of nice passing football by both teams, a delight to watch. There were plenty of strong fair tackles and the ref allowed the game to flow which benefitted all the players. Again Worcester had the share of chances and capitalised on this with a sweet goal from Morgan who took his opportunity well when it arose. 2-0

Worcester came out for the third quarter the brighter and hit the post almost straight away. Burton continued to prove to be a strong defence and kept out the Worcester attacks. Persistence by Worcester as a whole paid off with Cam finishing off another team effort. 3-0

A final quarter that continued with the show of lovely football by both teams. Chances were had by each team and some quality play between Mac and Tom led to a goal by Tom. Burton never put their heads down at any time and their persistence reaped a goal with the last kick of the game. 4-1

This was a hard but fair game, well done to all the players.
