Worcester City vs Central Ajax

City provided some Christmas cheer on their last run-out of 2018 with a convincing 4-1 friendly win over Central Ajax as all of the squad bar one enjoyed some game time prior to the festive season.

The hosts were repelled on numerous occasions by the Warwick side's goalkeeper before the breakthrough finally came in the third quarter with an excellent strike from Harry Rebbeck.

Further goals from Saeed Khattak, Matt Athey and Kyle Shaw clinched the win although there was some disappointment when a clean sheet was lost with a soft goal conceded direct from a late corner.

A win and a decent performance to take into 2019 nevertheless.
