In blustery conditions, Worcester City were blown away by RTC North Somerset who breezed into the next round of the JPL League Cup with a whirlwind 10-goal second-half blitz.
There was an even opening to the game as both sides matched up with City creating the first chance but shooting wide.
However the turning point came when the visitors took the lead with a flowing move down the right and a good delivery into the box being prodded into the net by an onrushing forward.
Within seconds, RTC NS grabbed a second when they capitalised on a defensive mistake to create a shooting chance which the City keeper could only parry to an opponent who stuck his chance away. Half time 0-2 but no sign of what was to follow after the break.
With the wind behind them in the second half, City just could not contain a rampant RTC NS who seemed to take advantage of every opportunity they created as well as the chances presented to them.
