Club Statement - JFA Accountants

The Club wish to announce that Auditors JFA Accountants have tendered their resignation as auditors of Worcester City Football Club.

The Board of Directors would like to extend their gratitude to Mr John Flanaghan for his diligence and hard work over this time of tenure.

The Club would like to inform Shareholders therefore that the proposed planned AGM will be postponed until such time as a suitable date can be rearranged and a new firm of Auditors are appointed.

The Directors wish to point out that changes to audit exemption rules for small companies,which includes the Club, means that full Audit is no longer a mandatory requirement and is very costly and the Club will be seeking advice as to the present position to comply with such regulation moving forward.

JFA have advised the Club that they no longer wish to undertake auditing work as it is an unviable sector of their business.
