Weir Leaves Club

Worcester City can confirm that Captain, Tyler Weir has agreed a deal to join Hednesford Town.

Hednesford submitted a 7 day request to speak to Tyler and after discussions were held, it was only right to let the two parties speak.

On leaving the Club, Tyler said this "I have loved my time at this Club and it has been a very difficult decision to make.

After having discussions I felt that at this point in my life this is an opportunity I couldn't turn down.

I firstly want to thank the supporters for all the support they have given me and the Club over the last few years.

I want to say thanks to Lee Hughes but also a massive thank you to Snapper.

He has helped me a lot over the last two years and I will be forever grateful to him.

Lastly I want to say it has been an honour to have worn the blue and white strip and also this season the captains armband."

The Club would like to wish Tyler all the success in the future.
