Today we welcomed Solihull Moors for a friendly.
Most of the game was a very even affair with neither side able to impose themselves, It was Worcester that took the lead after a smart interchange between Tom Griffin and Tom Mills which saw Millsy race up the line and deliver a pinpoint cross to Curtis Turner. Curtis controlled the ball and stabbed his shot past the onrushing keeper. Worcester’s lead didn’t last long, and Solihull equalised soon after with a well struck free kick which flew past the defensive wall and to the right of George Bourne in the Worcester goal.
There were very few further chances in a well contested game of football, with both defences holding strong. 1-1
