Worcester City U11’s first league fixture of the season produced a dominant performance in their first 9v9 format.
Q1: The first twenty minutes saw some superb football being played with City creating many chances.
Q2: During the second quarter Worcester really got a grip on the game and made their possession count, taking a good lead into the third quarter.
Q3: With yet more possession, St. George’s began to tire which left spaces all over the pitch for Worcester to show their class.
Q4: The fourth quarter was a formality and with City changing formation this allowed them to spray the ball around which led to more chances being created.
A great first game of the season with several players playing in new positions. There were two outstanding displays from James Thomas and Henry Guy who starred throughout the match.
Goals: Tyrese 3, Ashton 2, Josh S, James, Liam.
