The win puts City through to the 4th Qualifying Round and a long trip away at Gateshead.
Moors got off to a good start & Stefan Moore had a golden opportunity to open the scoring after a missed header from Tom Sharpe but his shot beat Nathan Vaughan before hitting the inside of the post and the ball rolled along the goal line.
Then minutes later Ryan Beswick forced Vaughan into tipping his shot around the post.
City's slow start was soon put behind them as Connor Gater's 25 yard shot was saved by Moors keeper Ben Siegrist. Seconds later Siegrist was there again to deny Sean Geddes from long range.

On the stroke of half time City were forced into a change with Jamie Smith being stretchered off after a clash of heads to be replaced by Wayne Thomas.
The second half started slowly with the first chance coming to Jack Byrne for Moors on 58 minutes with his strike being saved well by Nathan Vaughan.
City continued to press with the excellent Connor Gater running the midfield with Sean Geddes having his best game of the season. On 60 minutes Lee Hughes' curling effort narrowly beat the upright, before another volley was tipped over by Siegrist.
