There were plenty of chances for both sides but the Goal Keepers were to play a major role in the outcome. Ryan Boot made two terrific second half saves for City whilst Tony Breeden will want to forget the game after being beaten by two free kicks from Sean Geddes and being in the thick of a defensive mix up which saw Micah Evans pass the ball into an empty net.

The first half saw chances for both sides with Daniel Nti firing over the bar twice early on and Omar Bogle lofting the ball over for Moors.

On 12 minutes a Moors corner was headed goal bound by Liam Daly but Daniel Nti stayed on the post to head off the line. Two minutes later a City corner from Sean Geddes was headed wide by Anthony Charles.

Further chances came for both sides with Bogle firing wide for Moors and Danny Jackman doing the same for City.

The game fizzed from end to end and there was no stopping for breath as first A penetrating run from Kyle Haynes for City ended in Tristan Dunkley shooting over before Stefan Moore headed wide for Moors.

On 39 minutes City gave a free kick on the left wing which was floated in by Darrly Knights and after a scramble Ryan Beswick side footed into the corner of the goal giving Ryan Boot no chance to make it 1-0 to Moors.

The second half carried on at the same pace as the first with both sides creating chances. Ryan Boot denied a great chance at the feet of Omar Bogle before a sizzling shot from Sean Geddes was kept out by Breeden.

Minutes later Danny Jackman fell awkwardly and whilst down Sean Geddes again shot from the edge of the box for the ball to cannon off the bar, City kept the ball but it was clear Jackman was in trouble and the game was stopped. After a lengthy stoppage Jackman was stretchered off the pitch to be replaced by Mike Symons.

Within a minute Dean Waldron went close for City before Moors broke to the other end only for Ryan Boot to superbly save a Ryan Beswick header from close range.

On 64 minutes the scores were level. City were awarded a free kick 35 yards out and Sean Geddes stepped up to thunder a screamer in off the post.

On 75 minutes Boot again denied Omar Bogle after coming quickly off his line then on 82 minutes City were awarded another free kick, this time ten yards outside the box on the left hand side. Sean Geddes again stepped up to beat Breeden, this time at the near post.

Micah Evans came on for Tristan Dunkley as City continued to press, then with 5 minutes to go City were awarded another free kick just outside the box. With City Fans calling for a hat-trick of Free Kicks, this time Geddes was unable to match the previous two goals and Moors cleared.

With Five added minutes to play there was still plenty of action to go. A long clearance from Ryan Boot on two added minutes saw Breeden come out of his box to claim and as he tried to clear Micah Evans nipped in and calmly passed the ball home into the empty net to make it 1-3 to City.

Then a minute later Daniel Nti was sent clear down the left and beat the advancing Breeden from just inside the box to make it 1-4 and a memorable day for City.
