The 2014/15 Season ended in a goal fest as Colwyn Bay romped home to a 5-3 win.
The 53rd game of the season saw City chasing an 8th place finish whilst Bay were looking to avoid the drop, so both sides were looking for all three points.
It was an even exchange in the opening minutes Bay skipper Marc Williams forcing Jose Viega into a save before Daniel Nti shot inches wide after being set up by Sean Geddes.
The game was turned upside down for City in the 8th minute when defender Anthony Charles was sent off for pulling back Obi Anorua on the edge of the box giving referee Andy Handley no option but to show the red card.
On 23 minutes, City took the lead. Tristian Dunkley broke from the half way line, driving forward to 20 yards out before hitting a low drive into the bottom corner.
The game continued to go from end to end and within minutes Bay had equalised. A James Ellison Free kick from wide on the left on the half way line was driven deep to the back post which City keeper Jose Viega failed to gather allowing an easy finish for Mike Lea.
With three minutes to go before the break Anorua was sent clear down the right and lifted the ball over the advancing Viega but the ball landed on the roof of the net.
The second half would prove to be a series of goals, misses and mishaps.
Within two minutes of the re-start a long ball punted forward into the City fox from Bay towards Rob Hopley was intercepted by Jacob Rowe only for the ball to loop over Jose Viega.
Within 5 minutes it was 3-1. Bay once again won the ball all to easily and the ball ended up with Tom Buckley who hit a net breaking volley from the edge of the box.
Mike Symons was sent on to replace Tristian Dunkley but within two minutes it was 4-1. Viega produced a great save to force a corner which was sent in with an in swinger which went past everyone straight into the far top corner.
City responded with a Sean Geddes Free Kick crossed into the box to the head of Daniel Nti whose powerful headed smashed off the bar and Bay cleared.
It was nearly 5 for Bay as Obi Anoruo was sent clear once again only to be denied by the feet of Viega.
Jamie Smith replaced Tyler Weir and within a minute of coming on hit a ferocious drive which was turned round the post by Sanna.
Despite being shaky defending City continued to press forward an pulled a goal back in the 67th minute. Jay Denny crossed in to the box and Mike Symons headed onto Jamie Smith who was brought down to give City a penalty which Daniel Nti slotted home to make it 4-2.
Obi Anoruo who should have scored a hatful once again broke clear, this time beating Viega only for the ball to rebound off the inside of the post for City to clear. On 73 minutes however, Anoruo did score after being once more being put clean through. This time he slotted home past Viega to make it 5-2.
On 84 minutes City pulled one more back. Kyle Haynes sent the ball forward to Nti to dribbled the ball across the box to fire past Senna to make it 5-3.
With plenty of time still to go and 5 added minutes, City were unable to pull anymore back and the 2014/15 came to a close.
