City win their 3rd game in a row at home after a dramatic late winner from substitute Colby Bishop sealed a closely fought encounter at The Victoria Ground
The away side had the best of the early exchanges, with AFC Telford striker Bradley Reid going close on two occasions within the opening seven minutes, first pulling a shot wide after racing clear, before West Brom loanee Ethan Ross was on hand to save his second effort.
However, it was the home side who took the lead on the nine minute mark, in what was their first sight of goal. Connor Hughes crossed in from the right, causing confusion in Telford's six-yard-box. The ball eventually fell kindly to 40-year-old veteran Lee Hughes, who skilfully back heeled the ball into the corner of the net, giving opposition keeper James Montgomery no chance.
Telford responded and created a host of chances, with central defender Luca Havern firing straight at Ross from a corner, while Lee Hughes was in the right place and the right time once again, clearing the ball off the line from Ben Baileys effort.
At the start of the second-half, Hughes again tried a back heel, this time at the near post, but it was cleared off the line after beating the goalkeeper.
The Bucks appeared to lose their discipline just seven minutes after the break, with both Dave Hibbert and Ben Bailey appearing to strike Worcester midfielder Connor Hughes in the face, but the referee only produced a yellow for the Telford pair.
The second-half followed the same pattern as the first, it was the away side with the possession and were pushing hard for an equaliser.
The home side were looking dangerous on the break though, with substitute Chekaine Steel and midfielder Nelson-Addy both firing straight at the keeper after bearing down on goal.
Worcester were to pay for their missed chances, when a corner just 12 minutes from time found Telford defender Havern free in the box, and he headed home to equalise.
It looked as though the away side may have found a winner when, just six minutes from time, substitute Danny Reynolds was one-on-one with Worcester keeper Ethan Ross, only for Ross to deny him with an excellent save.
With the game heading towards a draw, in fifth minute of added time, Cieron Keane then slotted a delightful ball through to substitute Colby Bishop, who ran clear and slotted under Montgomery's legs to win the game in dramatic circumstances for the home side.
