Depsite throwing all at Boston in the second half, City lost their third game of the season.
In the 24th minute Boston had an opportunity to go one up when Mark Newsham had a penalty saved by Jose Viega but he made up for it a minute later when he fired them into a 25th minute lead giving Viega no chance.
After 39 minutes the Boston Goalkeeper Ashley Timms threw the ball to his right back Peter Bore who was dispossesed by the lively Luke Hubbins who squared for Daniel Nti to finish and gain his third goal of the season to make it 1-1 at half time.
In the second half City made a defensive mistake which proved to cost them dear. After failing to deal with a throw in Ricky Miller's shot was pushed away by Viega only for Spencer Weir-Daley to be on hand to finish from close in.
Veiga made two more saves from Weir-Daley, but from then on it was all City. Nti hit the post with an overhead kick with Ashley Walker heading the rebound against the bar. Despte further pressure City were unable to grab the equaliser and the afternoon was summed up in the last minute when they had a shot cleared off the line.
After the game Carl Heeley said, " We are bitterly disapponited not to get anything. We had some great opportunities but there are many good points to take away from the game to build on"
