City started a busy week with a 2-0 victory over Vauxhall Motors at Aggborough in a Skrill Conference North match.
Captain Ellis Deeney scored his first goal of the season, and his second in City colours, from 20 yards out eight minutes before half-time to break the deadlock.
City had several chances in the second half before Daniel Nti made the points safe with his 15th goal of the season just a minute from time.
Goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell came in on loan from Swindon Town & became the 7th keeper of the season & was mainly untroubled throughout the game to give a 15th clean sheet of the season.
Kidderminster Harriers loanee Santiago Aloi also made his home debut for City.
Apart from headers from Wayne Thomas and Aaron Brown, chances were few and far between for both teams but with City pressing and keeping most of the possession they were finally rewarded in the 37th minute.
Deeney tackled Tom Rutter in midfield before smashing a left-footed drive beyond the stranded Zac Jones to make it 1-0
Soon after City had a chance to make it 2-0 when Daniel Nti's half volley went inches wide.
In the second half City attacked with little response and had another chance when Ebby Nelson-Addy drove into the box but his shot deflected onto the bar to the incoming Aloi who headed the ball from less than a yard out goal bound before the scrambling Jones pushed the ball out from the goal line to clear.
City were nearly made to pay for their missed opportunities when Steven Tames got behind Graham Hutchison forcing the advancing Bedwell to block.
With Vauxhall pushing up the field they left room for the City attackers and substitute Ethan Moore set up Daniel Nti who fired home his 15th goal of the season to make it 2-0 in the final minute of the game.
