City Reserves retrieve themselves against Redditch
By NIGEL UPSON
Great team performance delivers the points against Redditch.
City had 12 fit player for this game from 22 and had several players playing out of position but their turned the game around.
They dominated the play for 20 minutes before going 1.0 down and if it hadn't been for Sean Dayus it would have been 2.0 shortly afterwards. His wonder save kept them in it as they squandered opportunities at the other end.
However, in the second half a great run and cross by Hassan Shah found Ethan Moran and he made no mistake before adding to his tally when a superb ball from Joel Owusu found Moran in the box and again he made no mistake.
City then piled on the pressure and with 5 minutes to go, Myles Simpson raced clear and slotted home for City's 3rd.
It was a deserved win and a good performance against a well drilled Redditch team who had chances themselves. City showed good quality in possession and made it count late on.
