Yate Town U11 v Worcester City

After weather affected the home team venue the game was played at Worcester on what turned out to be a game played in horrific conditions. The first quarter was a fantastic display of football from both sides with chances at both ends. Yate had a few chances on goal however good defending and goal keeping from Worcester stopped Yate from scoring.

At the other end a fantastic save from Yates keeper Luke Williams from a Worcester penalty meant the score remained 0-0 at the end of first quarter. Sadly the weather got the better of Yate and their players who struggled in the conditions, Worcester looked unfazed and took control of the second and third quarter making the score 4-0.

The fourth quarter was cut short as the weather continued to affect the game making it unplayable. Both teams gave 100% and the hospitality at short notice from Worcester was second to none, many thanks to all.
