Opening game of the season saw Coventry (A) play Worcester in an even matched first two periods. Both teams tried to play football with some good passing that created goal scoring opportunities for both teams. The game became more open in the third period with Worcester having more possession of the ball. Worcester took their chances with some good finishes.
Coventry did not let the score line affect them, and continued to keep trying to play football out from the back and got their rewards with a well worked goal in the fourth period. Credit to both teams who tried to pass the ball and play simple throughout the game and worked hard until the final whistle.
Two good footballing sides on display and I am sure both teams will have a productive and successful season in the junior premier league.
