Full Time: City 1-4 Cinderford Town

City welcomed Cinderford Town to Claines Lane this evening in pre-season action.

The higher ranked step 4 opponents came out on top, in a tough encounter for The Blue And Whites.

City started the better of the two sides but went in at the half 2 goals down. Emmett and Bartman the scorers for the visitors.

The second half saw a handful of changes for each team, in usual pre-season style before Cinderford then extended their lead through Scotford.

Sam Whitton looked to pull City back in to the tie with a strike in to the bottom corner, but the comeback was short-lived as Cinderford killed off any hope with a 4th goal through J Haswell.

City will now turn their focus to Goytre AFC away on Saturday 23rd July in their next pre-season test.
