A slightly delayed round-up this week, but a look back at last weekend's fixtures before this weekend's action

Worcester City U14's JPL 9 - 1 West Midlands RTC U14's
The equation for the Under 14's was simple in advance of this clash against their promotion rivals; three wins out of four remaining games would secure a promotion play-off place. Having lost 8-4 earlier in the season the Under 14's blew their opposition away with an accomplished performance both in and out of possession.

The talisman Ollie Moore scored five, the exceptional Josh Everett bagged a hat-trick and Jensen Otun rifled the other as they won 9-1 against strong opposition. Momentum is with them in the final three games of the season with a County Cup semi final on the horizon. Report by Dave Francis

Worcester City U11's 6 - 3 Wolverhampton Wanderers U12's
After a few weeks without a game it took a while to blow the cobwebs off but the boys got better and better as the game progressed. A volley and a diving header from Barney and an excellent individual goal from Alfie put us 3-1 up at half-time.

The second half followed a similar pattern with two good finishes from Seth and another header from Anaye which saw the boys win 6-3. Solid display from all players.

Player of the Match went to Billy for some great saves early on but also for his growing composure in playing out from the back. Special mentions as well for Jacob for his strength at the back and Barney for his all-round display. Report by Andrew Stamper

Kidderminster Harriers U13 Girls 1 - 0 Worcester City U13 Girls
Kidderminster Harriers went into the game on Saturday needing three points to win the league. Worcester City U13 Girls put in the their best performance of the season, losing 1-0 after an early goal for a Kidderminster side who have won nearly every game this season.

The City girls battled for every ball and had some great chances to level the game, a great run from Lexi Burston beating two players and getting brought down in the area, but unfortunately we missed the penalty. All the girls put in great team performance all over the pitch and the Manager is so proud of them. Kidderminster were happy for the final whistle to blow as they knew that was their hardest game of the season!

Players of the Match went to Lexi Burston and Olivia Nawrat. Congratulations to Kidderminster Harriers on winning the league and good luck in your final. Report by Shawn Cannaway

Worcester City U13 Colts 1 - 9 Cookley Sports Panthers U13's
The City team faced another of the league front runners in this mid-week fixture, brought about because of a fixture backlog due to weather postponed games over the last few months. The City team had a fantastic first half, going toe to toe with a strong Cookley side and there was little between the teams. Admittedly, City were doing more of the defending but they were doing this brilliantly.

Initially, Cookley took the lead in the match midway into the half but just before half time, some great battling from the City boys took us into the break level at 1-1. The move for the City goal started on the left wing when Adi Dudzinska crossed the ball from the edge of Cookley penalty area, the Cookley keeper came off his line and palmed the ball away from the goal. Arlo Cocklin reacted quickest and challenged for the ball with a Cookley defender, Arlo shot at goal but again the keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn’t keep hold of it. The second rebound fell to Joel Evans a few yards out and he flicked the ball into the net as the keeper attempted to recover.

The City team had to defend again in the second half and until 10 minutes in they kept Cookley at bay, however Cookley’s second goal heralded a cricket like collapse in the City defending and they went on to score another seven goals before the final whistle.

All the City players put in great performances in the game but Player of the Match was jointly awarded to Jenson Rimell & Ewan Casey. Report by Simon Fletcher
