Worcester City Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Haydn Whitcombe. Haydn joins from Bewdley Town, and will go straight into the squad ahead of tomorrow's trip to Wolverhampton Casuals.

Speaking on the signing, Manager Chris Cornes said:

"I’m absolutely delighted to get Haydn in, he’s probably the best keeper I’ve worked with.

"He’s such a big imposing physical presence at 6ft 3 and commands his box so well. His experience, communication and physical presence will be such a big help defensively and that showed in training last night.

"Adding Haydn to last week's signing of Lorcan, I’m hoping their experience and organisational skills will be great defensively for us, especially on set pieces and crosses into box.

In squad news, goalkeeper Josh Nicol has moved on. We thank him for his efforts in Blue And White and wish him the best for the future.
