On an extremely windy day on a poor pitch which was difficult for both sides, this was not a game for the football purist. There was very little football played with the ball spending a considerable amount of time off the pitch.
Worcester probably shaded the first half and had a good opportunity to score although the St George's keeper was equal to the Worcester attackers efforts. The only goal of the game came in the second half which was a well taken finish into the roof of the Worcester net. To their credit, St George's battled to the end and gave Worcester few opportunities to level the score.
We wish St. George's the best of luck for the final.
