Worcester City FC U13 Colts vs Wilden Village Youth U13 Wildcats (U13 Trophy World Cup)

Worcester City FC U13 Colts hosted the Wilden Village Youth U13 Wildcats team at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, Worcester on Saturday 11th November 2023 for an U13 Trophy World Cup match.

Managers Laurence Helme and Luke Morris presided over the team.

Before kick-off, both teams impeccably observed a minutes silence to mark the anniversary of Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, which commemorates the end of World War One and provides an opportunity to remember those who have died during conflicts for their country. Lest we forget.

Goal for Wilden Village Youth Wildcats.

Penalty Shoot-out
Worcester City won the penalty shoot-out 5-4 in the sudden phase with converted goals from Joel Evans, Adi Dudzinska, Toby Rose, Ollie Morris & Arlo Cocklin along with an opposition penalty save from Tom Fletcher.

All the City players put in great performances in the game but it was Tom Fletcher who was awarded player-of-the-match.
